  • Abstract
    This paper presents new expression for the least-squares error calculation of the first-order fullband digital differentiators. The proposed analytical relation is a function of the length of differentiator. It allows an effective and precise evaluation of the accuracy of the least-squares method applied to design of FIR differentiators. Numerical examples and graphical results are given to illustrate the correctness of the proposed relation.
