Abstract :
Summary form only given. Microwave Tube Simulator Suite (MTSS) is a full-featured, tightly integrated software package for microwave tube analysis and design. It includes a friendly user interface module and three physics simulators. Microwave Tube Design Environment (MTDE) is the user interface module, which provides a powerful solid modeling front-end and graphical and computational post-processing functionality. Electron Optics Simulator (EOS) is a 2D/3D finite-element design tool for microwave tube electron guns and collectors. High Frequency Circuit Simulator (HFCS) is an advanced, three-dimensional electromagnetic simulation tool for RF components. Beam Wave Interaction Simulator (BWIS) is a design tool for the electron beam and electromagnetic wave interaction. Researchers and designers can use MTSS to model and simulate the entire microwave tube, including solid modeling, simulation of all components and postprocessing.
