Abstract
The mix genetic and simulated annealing algorithm has been presented to optimize the parameters of Q-law which purpose is to determine the thrust direction and when to apply thrust to effect specified changes in the orbit elements except true anomaly. A penalty function has been designed to transform the constrained optimization problem to unconstrained optimization problem. The central body is assumed to be a point mass and the thrust is of a constant value. An example of transfers is presented in two instances. One is based on the parameters that choosing with no optimization and the other is used the optimized parameters obtained from the mix optimization algorithm.
