Abstract
In this paper, the slow-switching problem is addressed for a class of switched linear systems. Based on the idea of combining time-driven switching with state-driven switching, less-conservative switching laws are introduced according to the existence of a stable convex combination. For switched systems without a stable convex combination, by allowing the Lyapunov-like function increasing within the speci£ed time, we introduce a switching law. For systems having a stable convex combination, we introduce a much simpler switching law. We prove that, both switching laws can not only reduce the switching frequency, but also gives a lower bound of the duration for the state-driven periods.
