Abstract :
Gyro-traveling wave tube amplifier has become one of the most promising amplifiers in recent years for large power capacity of single-tube, wide frequency band. The biggest difficulty of design gyro-traveling wave tube is how to suppress various spurious oscillations modes competition. gyrotron backward wave oscillation, as one of the most important spurious oscillation, will greatly reduce the amplifier´s output power and efficiency.
