Abstract :
DC side voltage control is the key to the stability of active power filter (APF). In this paper the principle of APF DC side voltage power control is analyzed, type-2 fuzzy control strategy is proposed to the DC side voltage stability control, a type-2 fuzzy controller is designed to realize the dynamic regulation of the size and the fluctuation for the DC side voltage. Simulation and experimental results show that: the DC side voltage control of APF based on type-2 fuzzy controller has good dynamic performance and robustness, compared with the traditional PI controller, the type-2 fuzzy controller has less overshoot, faster response, stronger anti-disturbance and better control precision, it is more suitable to guarantee the stable operation of APF.
