Abstract :
In this paper, the uplink of an OFDM-CDMA mobile radio for LMDS (local multipoint distribution services) required for multimedia communication is investigated. A novel structure of LMDS upstream using MD-CDMA (multicarrier DS-CDMA) is proposed, and the performance is analyzed. The channel capacity of the proposed LMDS upstream using MD-CDMA scheme is increased compared with that of LMDS upstream using QPSK
