Abstract :
In this article, the single wall carbon nanotube waveguides and excitation of their ?? + ?? plasmons by electron beam is studied using linearized two-fluid quantum hydrodynamic model for ?? and ?? orbitals, the dispersion relations of electromagnetic waves in the single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNT) are investigated. By injection of a relativistic electron beam, the excitation of electromagnetic waves in this system are studied. This approach divides the collective plasmon excitation frequencies into low-energy and high-energy plasmon for angular modes.
