Abstract
An improved asymptotic condition for multiple-state delays systems in terms of a strict linear matrix inequality is presented. Unlike previous methods, the new method avoids bounding certain cross terms which often leads to conservatism. At the same time, the new method involves fewer variables in LMI conditions. And the condition of gamma as the Hinfin performance of this kind of system is provided. These conditions are used to derive an efficient state feedback controller with memoryless and memory state in terms of LMIs. Examples are provided to demonstrate the reduced conservatism of the proposed conditions
