Abstract
By investigation and study on present rural residence status in a typical Hot Summer and Cold Winter zone Zhejiang Province, this paper points out issues like high energy consumption, high cost, low life-span, low quality, etc. proposes the design strategy for green rural housing in New Countryside Construction. The author makes analysis from different aspects including the continuity of ecological concept, overall planning, individual design, and utilization of renewable energy, in order to search for a sustainable way for eco-house design in new countryside.
