Abstract
Summary form only given. Electronic content on vehicles has been increasing at a steady pace over the last two decades and today we can find quite sophisticated onboard ICs and a large average number of devices by car. The automotive electromagnetic environment is quite aggressive and presents particular challenges for IC designs to be overcome. There are also many regulations, standards and practices to be compliant to, also very demanding in many cases. On this presentation we cover the most important challenges and requirements to be addressed to make a successful design
