Abstract :
It is significant to make full use of giant building surface to increase the overall greening of city under conditions of great supply shortage in urban land. It is well known that green plant as a part of the environment has four functions as followed: regulating microclimate, beautifying environment, cultivating temperament, reconstructing space. Green plant is combined with the site, roof, external wall, internal space of buildings. The greenery wall has great impact on building facade form, and so the article mainly analyzes this kind of impact. When green plant is combined into green buildings, there will be corresponding changes in the design of the building facade. After analyzing the cultural background and great deal of related cases, the article summarizes three renovations on the building facade form: dynamism, chaos and media identity, and tries to reveal hidden relations between these renovations and modern culture changes in information society.
