Abstract
A great interest has been expressed in the investigations connected with the generation of powerful electron beams in crossed field guns in the past few years. The obtained experimental results point to the fundamental possibility of the forming of electron beams in cold cathode crossed field guns. For understanding the physical processes in the interaction space of the gun, it is necessary to carry out a theoretical investigation of features of the secondary-emission multiplication. In this paper, 3D computer modeling results in the interaction space of cold (metallic) cathode crossed field guns are discussed.
