  • Abstract
    Based on the analysis of PID control algorithm and model algorithmic control (MAC) algorithm, this paper presents a new algorithm, the proportional integral differential model algorithmic control (PIDMAC) algorithm. The new algorithm, which is simple in structure, reliable in operation and robust in performance, is combined with the virtues of the two algorithms above and superior in predictive function. The influence of PIDMAC controller parameter tuning on system performance was investigated in time domain. The parameter election range was discussed in simulative research. Through analysis and comparing in simulative research, it is indicated that PIDMAC algorithm has better performance than conventional MAC algorithm, and grounds well for engineering application.
