Abstract :
With researches and analyses of the impact of hydrodynamic conditions on eutrophication, a kind of photovoltaic powered water purification device has been invented. Photovoltaic powered water purification device improves the anaerobic conditions of the bottom of eutrophic water body by increasing oxygen content, and decomposing and digestive function of aerobic micro-organisms, resulting in reduction of nutrient concentrations and inhibition effect on nutritional conditions algal growth needs. The running of photovoltaic powered water purification devices has remarkable effects on water quality improvement of pilot river. The average removal rates of TN, TP, COD of the water in 2009, compared with that of the beginning of 2007, were up to 67%, 54% and 63%; turbidity, color dropped 46% and 45%; and DO content increased 277% The physical, chemical and biological indicators of the river have basically met water quality standards for scenic environment use (GB/T 18921-2002). The average sludge thickness at the bottom has a significant reduction, dropped from 15cm at the beginning to 10cm at the end of the test.
