Abstract :
The gyrotron backward-wave oscillator (gyro-BWO) features continuous frequency tenability. The gyro-BWO of this study will compose of the mode-selective circuit of transverse slice, the interaction structure of down-tapered waveguide with length of 3 cm, constant velocity ratio magnetic injection gun, and circular TEoi mode converter in a beam voltage of 70 kV, beam current of 5 A, velocity ratio 1.5 , waveguide radius from 2.1 mm to 1.85 mm, operation magnetic Bο field from 36 to 44 kG, and circular TE01 operating mode.
