Abstract :
This is the Fifth Special Issue on Power Modulators and Repetitive Pulsed Power in the IEEE Transactions on Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation and the seventh issue published by IEEE. The issue highlights topics from the IEEE DEIS International Power Modulator and High Voltage Conference (IPMHVC), and it is published biannually. Only a fraction of papers in this issue were based on presentations given at the 2014 IPMHVC in Santa Fe, New Mexico, June 1-5, 2014, and those papers were significantly extended in content by the authors to distinguish the papers from the 2014 IPMHVC proceedings. This special issue was open to all authors, and the majority of the papers are new submissions not included in the conference proceedings.
