Abstract :
At present, there are a large number of data sources used by the civil aviation, which are different in data mode, different in data semantic and different in platform. How to integrate these data sources to AIXM-based aviation information central database and realize aviation data sufficient sharing and interconnection is an important work of the air navigation database construction. In this paper, we propose a system to integrate heterogeneous navigation database, named as Heterogeneous Navigation Database Management System (HNDMS), which can access multiple heterogeneous data sources in unified data format and integrate them into the AIXM based navigation central database. HNDMS includes the heterogeneous data source management module and central data management module. HNDMS work as an intermediate to support data integration and data conflict recognition. We design the system architecture and model the system as Pi calculus to define the system behavior; others can implement a prototype according to the architecture and the definition of interaction of different modules. The system enables full integration of heterogeneous navigation data source.
