Abstract :
A numerical solution to the transmission line equations is given using orthogonal filtering approach. The discretization technique utilizes the bilinear transformation and the resulting transfer function matrix is realized in terms of two allpass sections. The signal flow graph is then implemented by considering appropriate boundary conditions. A result similar to the wave digital filter approach is obtained
