Abstract
This research opens a new window in the field of image processing by 3D Volume Representation of tumor through the use of Magnetic Resonant Imaging and an integrated software tool called 3D Slicer. The technique used for the piece of work is Label map segmentation and surface model making. It is used to segment the brain tumor from 2D images and then converting it into 3D for further model analysis and volume calculation. It is suggested after testing and observing various available methods and algorithms. The proposed method shows more precision among the others. Processing time is less. This will help the physicians in analyzing the brain tumors accurately and efficiently.
