  • Abstract
This article makes a detailed analysis and discussion based on the analysis of the working principle and features of the redundant technology and in aspect of improving the availability of the system. The result indicates that the redundant technology can improve MTBF of the system effectively which can improve the availability of the system. The high availability of the storage subsystem and resource subsystem will decide the availability of the campus network. The network attached storage technology has advantages of high reliability, easy management and extensibility. Combined with the utilization of network attached storage technology and data backup technology, storage systems with high availability are designed, which can provide solutions for network storage needs with high availability.
