Abstract
A general unconstrained transform is developed. The energy in electromagnetic circuits is presented in one composite equation. The relationship between conservation and circuit elements is presented. It is shown that only a few very fundamental relationships are necessary to completely describe electromagnetic networks. These provide a composite approach to the various specialities of electrical engineering. The definition of electromagnetic energy combined with conservation and discrete-element relationships are adequate
