Abstract
In non homogeneous environments, the non stationary clutter statistics in which the radar operates and the number of interferences that may be present in the reference window, are unknown a priori. In such a case, the use of automatic censoring techniques becomes an essential task. In this paper, we develop the Forward and Backward Automatic Censoring Binary non-Coherent Integration Constant False Censoring and Alarm Rates Detectors based upon the Weber-Haykin adaptive thresholding (WH-based F/B-ACBID-CFCAR). For a Weibull background. We show, through Monte-Carlo simulations, that both censoring and detection performances of these detectors, outperform those of the corresponding one-pulse detectors.
