  • Abstract
The primary goal of the design process is to remain in business. The case study presented here by the authors is that of an electronics department which, from external appearances, `just grew´ from a few to about 160 people over a period of ten years, during which time the company has gone from public to foreign ownership. The number of electronics designers has been static for about four years
