  • Abstract
Summary form only given. Generalized pseudopotential model of plasma particle interactions is proposed. It is based on the Bogolyubov-Born- Green-Kirkwood-Yvon (BBGKY) hierarchy in the pair correlation approximation and its basic result is the generalized Boltzmann-Poison equation for macropotential accounting for collective events in plasmas. It is shown that the generalized pseudopotential model is capable of describing both thermodynamic and transport properties of various plasmas. The first example of this is the semiclassical plasmas [1] in which the quantum diffraction effects are treated in the particle interaction potential. The other important example is the so-called self-consistent chemical model of partially ionized plasmas [2]. An ordinary chemical model usually assumes the linear mixing rule, i.e. contributions of charged and neutral components to the free energy are considered independent. On the contrary, the self- consistent chemical model correctly takes into account the reciprocal influence of charged and neutral components and, despite ordinary chemical models, it is capable of treating transport phenomena as well.
