Abstract
Based on the theory of holistic regionalism which encourages architectural design to integrate with the specialties of regional natural and cultural environment as well as the local intelligence on technic and art, the project was studied in terms of nature,culture and technology. The target of this study was to discuss how Canadian B+H architects dealed with the relationship between the contemporary architectural system and the regional specialties so as to create new building environment which were in accord with local characteristics. Respecting the local ecological balance, embodying the authentic extension of regional culture and technology, as a result, the project achieve a sense of identity and belonging, establish a kind of sustainable architectural thinking in the dimensions of both natural and social ecology.
