Abstract :
A selective image encryption algorithm is proposed based on hyper-chaos. In the algorithm, the plain image is first divided into blocks, and the coefficient blocks are obtained by performing DCT transformation and quantization on the blocks. Then part coefficients are selected from every coefficient block and encrypted by 4D Chen´s system. Analysis and experimental results show that the encryption algorithm is secure.
