Abstract
The purpose of an antilock braking system (ABS) is to prevent wheel lockup under heavy braking conditions on any type of road surface. In this study, multifactor input, dphi/ds and (dphi/ds)/dt, are proposed in the fuzzy controller. This new method not only offers a better braking performance, but also improves the pedal pushing feeling. At last, the design is simulated in Matlab/Simulink environment. And the results indicate multifactor input offer a good braking result and improves the active security when the automobile brakes promptly.
