Abstract
As part of the ARPA-Lincoln C-band Observables Radar (ALCOR) modernization program, a pulsed high-power, high-voltage, video dummy load (VDL) has been designed. This load is scheduled to be fabricated and installed in the ALCOR transmitter in late 1996. It is intended to facilitate trouble shooting of the final-power-amplifier (FPA) floating-deck modulator, for use in the evaluation of the site inventory of beam switch tubes, and to allow high-duty factor modulator testing without risk to the FPA
