Abstract :
Dynamic simulation technology of helium refrigerator provides a new research platform to design control strategies for cryogenic system. In this paper, a process simulator for helium refrigerator controlled by PLC, has been completed. The dynamic model is implemented using a process simulation software, Aspen HYSYS, and the real-time communication between process model and controller is achieved by OPC protocol. Base on this platform, the application of controller parameter tuning for process control is presented. Research results indicate that dynamic simulation based on real control architecture is available to design controllers efficiently and test control programmer on virtual plants before implementation.
