  • Abstract
The concept of “mathematics culture” has established the close relation between mathematics and humanities as well as social sciences. It also embodied the application values of mathematics in more and more non-natural fields of science. This paper analyzed the shortcomings and misunderstandings of mathematical and cultural quality-oriented education in the teaching process of basic college mathematics courses, summarized the development of “mathematics culture”. It proposed the practical significance of culture infiltration in the mathematical public basic courses by discussing the active role of “mathematics culture” education in promoting college students´ quality-oriented education and improving the teaching quality of basic college mathematics courses.
