Abstract
We have shown that by combining fuzzy logic and hyperknowledge we will get a new paradigm for the development and use of active DSS, which is a more effective and productive way to build decision support systems. We demonstrate that this will help us to gain a better understanding of decision making, problem solving and planning processes in environments, which have not been accessible for systematic studies with traditional research instruments. We also show that active DSS tools can be used as research instruments
