Abstract :
This paper describes the proposal of a CANOpen profile for use in electric energy transmission and distribution plants, more specifically for lap position control and supervision in multi-tap autotransformers using master-slave configuration. The proposed profile allows the interconnection of electric plant sub-station\´s equipments through a CANOpen network making usage of low cost microcontrolled boards, programmed in Java language. The implemented network adopts the "following master" algorithm in a producer/consumer topology, adding flexibility and temporal determinism to the plant. The realtime behavior of the implemented profile is evaluated using the BR-Tool multiprotocol analyzer developed by the authors.
