Abstract :
Distributed generation (DG) brings new green energy to the power system, meanwhile it also brings more power quality disturbances. According to the power quality disturbances of grid-connected distributed generation system, a new idea of the power quality auto-monitoring for distributed generation based on virtual instrument is proposed in this paper. Its realization of hardware system and software system are analyzed, its main functions and characteristics are expatiated on. The theory algorithm of auto-monitoring is researched and simulation analysis is carried out in detail. The results of simulation and experiment show that the auto-monitoring system can detect the power quality disturbances of distributed generation roundly, real-timely and accurately.
