Abstract :
The primary purpose of this study is to examine the perceived importance of the extent of education with the core value principles of Confucianism philosophy from the viewpoint of two hundred managers in electronics and information technology companies in northern Taiwan. Based on the classification of Chinese Cultural Values by the Chinese Cultural Connection (1987) and Ying Fan (2000), the study hopes to identify which Confucianism core values are the most influential and important in a Taiwanese school education environment according to managers in electronics and information technology companies. Finally, this study hopes to provide meaningful suggestions and thoughts for the scholars who are interested in understanding the Confucianism philosophy and its influence on education in Taiwan.
