Abstract :
A definition of the disorder motion in traffic flow is given in order to quantitatively describe the disorder motion in traffic flow through analysis the concept of order motion and disorder motion. A measure model of disorder motion in traffic flow is put forward based on the traffic entropy. The measure model has been applied to analysis the disorder motion in traffic flow. Aim at the traffic flows on the first, second, third and fourth-class road with the design speed 80, 60, 40, 30, and 20 separately, the thresholds of 9 traffic flows are calculated. Based on the thresholds of the calculated results, the traffic flow is in the disorder motion in traffic flow when the threshold N is 1.10. The speed of traffic flow is less than 30% of the design speed in this time. The model solves in principle the measure problem of the disorder motion in traffic flow and provides the theoretical foundation to study on transition process between disorder motion and order motion.
