Abstract
With the furtherance of the reform and opening-up policy, especially after China´s entry into the WTO and her successful holding of the 2008 Olympic Games, enthusiasm for the learning of the English language is sweeping through the whole nation. China is making increasing amount of contact with the world in English, an international tool of communication. This renders it necessary and urgent for people to pay more attention to English education which has many problems for a long time. Under the present situation, an English education revolution which can improve the level and quality of English teaching is called for. This article expounds the problems of present-day China´s English Education and puts forward strategies and ways of solving these problems.
