Abstract :
An interactive software package has been developed to complement and facilitate the teaching of waveguide propagation and radiation phenomena. This program is a MATLAB-based set of individual tools that are linked together perform different operations. The main advantage is its graphical and user-friendly interface that have been developed at the Universidad Poltecnica de Madrid (U.P.M). The toolboxes have been designed in order to show a wide set of graphics related with the main properties of different types of waveguides and antennas. This allows students to select and change different aspects of the program. To illustrate how the program can be used, several applications are presented to be used in courses of applied electromagnetism primarily intended for students.
