Abstract :
EDF conducted a measurement program over three years, from June 1993 to June 1996. Its purpose was to measure power quality, customers´ opinion and the connection between them. Three hundred measuring devices (Qualimetre) were installed at the premises of industrial customers between June 1993 and June 1995. The QUALIMAT experiment gathered such a huge quantity of data that it enabled us to study the influence of system characteristics on the power quality and the effect of power disturbances on customers´ opinions. This paper presents the results of the equipment: correlations between measured power quality and customers´ opinion, statistics on the measurements of voltage dips, short interruptions, harmonic currents and unbalance, correlations between system characteristics and disturbances, model of the number of interruptions and voltage dips as a function of system characteristics.
