Abstract :
An experimental test of a three-storied reinforced concrete structural wall was performed. The whole shear failure process and the seismic behavior of this structural wall under the cyclic loading were studied. The results include the cracking shear strength, the maximum shear strength, the drift angle associated to these loads and the original stiffness. Conclusions are drawn concerning the deformation capacity, the shear transfer mechanism and the strength deterioration after maximum strength. Moreover, the FEM analysis was performed and the shear transfer mechanism of such a multi-story structural wall was verified.
