Abstract :
The physical layer structure of WCDMA is different from synchronous CDMA system. Therefore, a novel integration scheme of link and system level simulation is needed. In this paper, we introduce a novel method for estimating required Eb/No of system level data using Ec/Ior of link level data. And we verify the accuracy of modified estimation scheme through the snapshot system level simulation. Also, we simulate the downlink capacity with estimated required Eb/No. In result, the new method is very simple but very accurate.
