Abstract :
The authors describe a process that has been developed to facilitate the construction of new teams and to enhance the productivity of existing teams by documenting the within and between team member information flows using formal specification tools. They show how computer-aided systems engineering (upperCASE) diagramming tools can be used to describe the `as-is´ and `could-be´ team architectures. A case study based on the authors´ work with a semiconductor firm is used to illustrate the concept
