Abstract :
Some outside and inside approximations of the Schur stability region in polynomial coefficients space are given. A Schur invariant transform is introduced which preserves all the reflection coefficients of a polynomial inside the unit hypercube. Some simple necessary stability conditions in terms of unions of polytopes are obtained by splitting the unit hypercube of reflection coefficients. A rule for generating sufficient stability conditions in terms of simplex is obtained using linear Schur invariant transforms
