Abstract
Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete (SFRC), as a new compound civil engineering material, has been deeply studied in recent years. This paper presents a brief introduction of the basic characters of steel fiber reinforced concrete. Research of SFRC on the following aspects are discussed: the content and size of steel fiber; results of triaxial test; tensile and compressive properties; fatigue resistance; dynamic mechanical behavior; ductility and some other characters. It puts forward the problems to be solved. Further prospect of investigation on High Performance Steel Fiber Concrete is suggested.
