  • Abstract
    This paper presents a new model of phase noise analysis for CMOS LC-tank quadrature oscillator. The model is built based on the analysis in frequency domain. The analysis emphasizes on the mechanism by which the noise current flowing into the tank is converted into phase noise. The closed-form expression of phase noise is derived.
