Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the occurrence of chaotic motion and neuro-control in velocity control induction motor system. The induction motor is currently used by realization of so-called vector control method, which is superior to a dc motor in maintenance. The dynamics of this motor is represented by nonlinear multi-dimensional equations. Though precise parameters are necessary for the vector control method, there are often identified errors in parameters. Then, it is known that chaotic motions may occur in the system. In this paper, the existence of chaotic motion can be verified from time series data. In order to suppress the chaotic motion, the neuro-control method is proposed for the vector control system.
