Abstract
The paper is devoted to the numerical investigation of the difference between the reflection coefficients of the SAW incident on a groove/strip along the inverse directions. This difference occurs because of the crystallographic anisotropy of the substrate or/and the asymmetry of the shape of the groove/strip. The computations are carried out by the finite element method (FEM). The perfectly matched layer (PML) is implemented in order to truncate the computational domain.
