Abstract
For production departments, available-to-promise (ATP) is a critical basis to work out master production schedule and an important reference to make supply promise to clients´ orders quickly and accurately. Based on the summarization of ATP research by domestic and foreign scholars, this paper provides the system framework on supply chain-oriented multi-stage ATP, concurrently considers the available quantity of distributors´ product, the available quantity of manufacturers´ inventory and the available production capacity and profitability of manufacturers in the supply chain, raises a supply chain-oriented and multi-stage supply capacity, specifically discusses the calculating processes of its core modules including ATP, CTP and PTP, and adopts an example to test andverity the application of this promise system at last. According to the above validation, it is proved that this promise system is able to improve the clients´ order respond rate and enhance the satisfaction degree of fulfilling the clients´ order greatly.
