  • Abstract
There are presented methods of computer-aided statistical analysis of ultrasound elastograms. It is described an approach consisting in initial segmentation of elastograms visualizing low-elasticity segments distribution in the tissue of an examined biological organ and in statistical analysis of this distribution. It was observed a good correlation between the values of some statistics and medical specialists´ description of the elastograms. The ways of continuation of works aimed at improvement of the elastograms-based diagnosic methods are suggested.
