Abstract
Dissipation structures possess non-classical damping because of the additional damping devices. In the study, the random response of dissipation structure was gained by applying Pseudo-excitation method. The closing solution of mean square response for structure stories under random excitation was obtained by inputting pseudo excitation in this paper. According to the story failure model of frame structures, a failure-dependent series system was analysed. Based on theory of dynamic reliability and random response of structure, a method about dynamic reliability of passive dissipation structure was presented.
